The Power of Your Subconscious has been a bestseller since it was first published in 1963 and has sold millions of copies since its original publication. It is one of the brightest and most popular spiritual self-help works of all time that can help you heal yourself, banish your fears, sleep better, enjoy better relationships, and feel happier. The techniques are simple and the results come quickly. You can improve your relationships, your finances, your physical well-being.
The unique feature of this book is its down-to-earth practicality. Here we introduce simple, useful techniques and formulas that you can easily apply in your everyday world. I have taught these simple processes for men and women around the world, and recently more than a thousand men and women of all faiths have attended a special class in Los Angeles where I have presented the most important information on what is offered in the pages of this book. Many came from two hundred miles to each lesson.
The special features of this book will appeal to you because they will show you why you often get the opposite of what you prayed for and reveal the reasons for you. People have asked me in all parts of the world and a thousand times? Why did I pray and pray without getting an answer? In this book you will find the reasons for this common complaint. The multitude of ways to impress the subconscious mind and get the right answers makes it an extremely valuable book and always up-to-date help in difficult times.
Dr. Joseph Murphy explains that life events are actually the result of the work of your conscious and subconscious. He suggests practical techniques for changing your destiny, mainly by focusing and redirecting this wonderful energy. Years of research on the great religions of the world have convinced him that there is a great power behind all spiritual life and that this power is within each of us.
The power of your subconscious will open up a world of success, happiness, prosperity and peace to you.
I really enjoyed this book. Even though there is a lot of information conveyed in the book and it is, it is divided into many small sections (chunks, as I call them), making the book much easier to read. Although this book was written many years ago (first published in 1963), everything in the book is still true.
I like self-help books - some even helped, but I'm afraid that's a bunch of bullshit. Maybe I exaggerate, but it's showing its age and doesn't stand up to criticism right now. Three points...
This made me aware of the enormous faculty we have to use all our mental capacity to begin living and to see ourselves capable of accomplishing whatever you choose to be or do.
What an incredible read! Dr. Joseph Murphy's approach to explaining the workings of the subconscious mind is one of the clearest, most logical, and enlightening books on the subject.
When I started this book, I thought it would be good. The title was very interesting and I admit it was an impulsive purchase and I didn't know the author was a Minister. While I have no objections to this or anything that is written in the book, I find this book a little too far-fetched. I love to meditate and believe and about subconscious faith, but this seems like a book for the lazy. And TBH, this book challenges the laws of medicine at some point!
