This book is all the best parts of Rachel Hollis, all in one place. When my friends asked me to describe this book in relation to Girl, Wash Your Face, I said, "GWYF is for the average woman or mom. This is the book that makes you say," OMG, c 'is me! "But girl, stop apologizing this is Hustler's guide. It's the book for anyone with ambitions. It's written for the woman who wants more than doing the same thing every day, year after year This book is for the voice in the back part of your mind that says, "Dude, I'd love to do 'x' someday" a place.

It's crazy enough to even try to explain the personal growth I've experienced since I found Rachel Hollis. I feel like I'm on the treadmill every day. I worked hard on everything, but never felt like I could go anywhere. When I reunited with Rachel Wayyyy, she was just stepping out of the Food Blogger role into this new personal development space, and I was ready. I started to wake up in the morning, I started to set some really big goals and then to achieve them !! I stopped letting other people's opinions slow me down or make me feel bad about myself. I have lost over 30 pounds. I have a stronger marriage than ever. We have put our personal finances in a better position than ever. I updated our point of sale software (after using Quickbooks for 15 years! It's scary!) I built an online store that I have been talking about for 10 years. I participated in my very first bike race which was over 28 miles. I ran 5 km without stopping. I became a notary. I decided to take a step back and look at the people I surround myself with and whether they lift me up or bring me down, and made a few changes, even when it was difficult.

If you are a dreamer; if you are a cheater; if you can imagine that thing that you always thought was impossible for you; if you want to do better, these books are a great starting point for your journey.

I have received a copy of this book for an advanced reader - all of my opinions are mine.

In August 2018, I bet on “Girl Wash Your Face” because I had Audible credit and kept seeing this cover appear on my feed. I immediately connected to the message Rachel Hollis was throwing. So much so that I started to change my life and continue to do so. When the opportunity arose to get an advanced copy of his next book, I jumped at the opportunity to learn more about such a motivating influence.

My first thoughts after finishing the book were that there was a lot of recycled content. After thinking about this, I realized it was because I'm following her on social media, watching the morning show, seeing the documentary, and going to Rise. Having said that, there are millions of women who will be reading this book and who will not be so busy, so this book is full of content for them.

Rachel boosts motivation in this book with several statements that really kick your ass. He provides sincere but firm advice on how to get to where you want to go and what obstacles you may face. He does all of this by adding several pieces of humor that relieves the pain of looking at your situation for what it is, which is sometimes very difficult.

I have seen many reviews that speak negatively about the "religious" aspects of this book and I want to approach it from a non-Christian point of view. In this book or "Girl Wash Your Face", it didn't seem like the book exudes religion. In fact, I had to go back and look to see even a mention of his faith in this book. I always watch book reviews that seem to be in the religious space because I want a message, not a preacher. Rachel Hollis preaches but not Christianity, she preaches for women to empower themselves to change the world no matter what...
